Ralph Nader Running?

why does ralph nader want to give another term to president bush (what other reason can he have for running and dividing the voters as he may have done in 2000)?

i just don't understand.

I am really torn on this issue. I think the current regime has got to go and it seems like the country will remain to be only marginally in favor of getting a democrat in the white house. If nader runs again he could split the more democratic vote and give bush another win.

However, the green party has good ideas and I think having a third party that is like the green party will be heathly for the democracy longterm. The democrats and republicans has basically become like a family feud in the south. It is hard to see the differences and the only reason they fight is because they have different names. The green party will bring in fresh blood and force them to show their differences instead of showing how alike they are.

If Nader doesn't keep running the momentem stops and the stagnent political situation we currently have continues. If he does run and we the keep the current regime, how much of a country will we have left in the short term?

In short, I hope he runs, I just hope he doesn't lose the election for all of us americans.

How Do You View Pets - new article

i had it shoved in my face in the subway at 42nd street this morning by the jw drone who stands there.

as usual, i controlled my urge to kick her, but the title of the article caught my eye, pet lover that i am.. i would assume it lays a load of guilt on anyone who holds their pet in high esteem..

"Brothers and sisters, lend me your ears. Some of you, perhaps none of you have been wondering the important question, 'Should I keep a pet?' Sounds like a simple question. Sounds even like a question that the society would have no opinion on. But who are we to presuppose what the faithful and discreet slave knows to be God's holy direction. They are smart. I mean S - M - E - R -T. They think in ways that would boggle your mind. Did you consider that having to care for a pet would mean you have less time to devote to personal indoctrination and study and worse you will have less time to gather more mental slaves from the door to door work? No you didn't did you, who would, who could, certainly no one in their right mind. The governing body however is beyond their right mind, they are in their double right mind and you know what happens if you take two rights, you go 180 degrees. Therefore they are 180% correct. Think of God's blessing - we have almost 200% more of God's blessing than the leading religion!

So tonight I ask all of you to go home and sacrafice your beloved pet animals to Jehovah God, just Abraham would have done to Issac. We must remain no part of the world, just as we shun normal healthy social contact with the rest of the world, so shall we shun lassie and garfield. I know to some of you this may seems harsh and unhuman, but think of all the lifes you will be saving. And Jehovah God will reward his faithful. In the new order to come someday he will bestow each of us with pets, not just some furry dog, but a roaring lion. Think of that, you neighbor now may have a pit bull, but it ain't shit compared to a lion or tiger. Yeah a bengal Tiger, that is what I want. Picture your favorite wild and probably dangerous animal, I promise Jehovah God will bestow his blessing on you and give it as a pet and it probably won't even try to eat you.

So in conclusion, Pets Bad, Mindless Sheepishness Good."

my son was at the gym last week when he saw a guy he knew from school.

i guess they started talking and asked where each other lived.

it came down to that this guy lives three houses down from my daughter.

yeah actually it is MILF, no T.

I think it originated in the movie American Pie from a few years ago, I had never heard of that term before that movie came out.

And c'mon, there are plenty of beautiful ladies who happen to have children. It is more of a complement, the same as saying 'She is Hot.'

XJW's and Mental Health Disorders

as many of you now know, i was in the mental ward for a breif period.

after i got out of the mental ward, i was placed in group therapy where i am today.

i talked with my therapist today and he mentioned a very interesting fact.

Yeah, same here I was diagnosed with depression and ADD made two trips to the psych ward and have multiple suicide attempts under my belt. What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger. Thanks to the witnesses influence on my life I will be stronger and harder than diamonds before I die.

Actually last trip to the psych ward I starting reading ray franz's crisis of conscience and that really was a breakthrough for me, before that I never really put 2 and 2 together and realized the witness indoctrination and teachings were the root of my depression.

I strongly believe in freedom of religion or non-religion in my case, but thinking so many more children will go through what I already went through makes me so angry.

Twisted Life

i just thought that i would share my life as a jw.

i was born into this cult in 1973. i was born as a hermaphodite (both sexes) this was of great shock to my parents, apparently the confided in one of the elders asking him what thay should do?

his respones was that i should be made male (the doctors at the time said i should be female) my parent took the avice of the elder and i was the made to be a male.. as i was growing up i beged my parents to allow me to be the person that god had wanted me to be but the elders kept reasuring me and my parent that god wanted me to be a male so that i could one day be a elder or s/overser.. in my teen years it became very apparent that my parents had made a mistake as i would act in a very female way.

I hope there is a hellfire so those bastard elders can have their own special place set aside and burn for eternity for what they did to you. I am very glad you found us here and have made your own way and are doing what you know is right for yourself. Welcome.
